We recognise that Toastmasters may have partners, spouses and friends who aren’t interested in workshops and competitions. What if there was an alternative just for them?
The Discover York programme is an alternative but still allows everyone to come together and enjoy the evening events. The programme is guaranteed to be enjoyable and informative, taking in the famous sites and sights of York.
We start the programme on Friday afternoon with a leisurely visit to the Treasurer’s House, a beautiful mediaeval building famous for the ghosts of Roman legionaries marching through the cellar!
On Saturday the Discover York Programme reaches full swing offering
- A sightseeing bus tour of the city
- A visit to York Minster
- A chance to explore the quirky treasures of the Castle Museum
- A trip down the world-famous Shambles.
Sunday resumes a more leisurely pace with a gentle strolling Treasure Hunt within the City Walls.
York has something for everyone. Join us and discover what York holds for you!
The Discover York Programme is available at same cost as delegate programme.
Please note: Booking the Discover York programme will mean non-attendance at workshops, Council meeting & competitions during the day
